Prunes possess the ability to provide us with nutrients, such as potassium, phosphorus and magnesium; that will combat constipation, improve blood circulation and increase the quality of brain function. They can also slow the aging process; boost memory, lower cholesterol and protect us against heart disease. Prunes can be eaten as a snack or can be included with muesli to create a nutritious breakfast dish. Warning: The mechanical stoning process may leave an occasional pip or part thereof.
