Cranberries carry many antibiotic properties. They aid the prevention of bacteria sticking to the teeth and so reducing dental plaque. The same case with the urinarytract and bladder; bacteria does not stick to the cell lining these organs, reducing the risk of infection.
Cranberries are filled with vitamin A, C; iron and potassium. These promote the improvement of cardiovascular health and immunity against cancer. They also reduce the risk of developing kidney stones and inhibit bacteria associated with stomach ulcers.
This fruit can be included in relish, oatmeal or biscotti. It is ideal as a sauce paired with ostrich or a stuffing for chicken or other poultry.
